Responsibilities

• Independent and self-responsible procurement of goods and services based on purchase requisitions, taking into account compliance requirements and existing corporate and purchasing guidelines;
• Independent coordination of all order relevant parameters with the requisitioner as well as clarification of details with suppliers;
• Monitoring and maintenance of purchasing data in existing systems and purchasing (price) lists;
• Identification, communication, and onboarding of new suppliers as part of supplier management;
• Steering and monitoring of the operational ordering process (conversion of purchase requisitions into purchase orders) and processing of order confirmations;
• Clarification of commercial and technical questions arising from suppliers and internal stakeholders;
• Clarification of deviations in payment terms (purchase order / master data / invoice) in individual cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a comparable field;
• Good German and English language skills;
• Professional experience in purchasing is desirable;
• General understanding of purchasing processes is desirable;
• General understanding of ERP systems is desirable; SAP knowledge is an advantage;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured working approach and high attention to detail;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders;
• Interest in interdisciplinary and international teamwork;
• High service orientation and strong team spirit;
• High flexibility with effective time and self-management skills;
• High reliability, resilience and friendliness.
