2025 is our transformational year— launching our own gig platform for which we need someone like you building an effective go to market strategy, making sure that internal processes are all aligned to support talent attraction, onboarding and training as well as ensure a great experience for the talents who will join our community. And all that, of course, heavily driven by automation and AI to create unique differentiators as well as internal efficiencies.
The Role
You’ll be the lead for our new Gig Worker business. You will leverage our soon to be publicly launched gig platform, drive the go to market strategy for this product and get it ready to serve the needs of our customers and our Gig Community. You will market the platform to both businesses and Gig Workers, engage with potential clients looking for elastic Gig worker solutions and streamline the growth of the Gig Army through global recruitment and onboarding.
As Product & Business Development Manager, you will:
- Define the platform’s business model and go to market strategy, including subscription tiers, commission structures, surge pricing and product features.
- Translate business objectives into clear product requirements and measurable KPIs.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly features (e.g., onboarding automation, compliance workflows, multilingual matching).
- Partner with Sales, HR, and Operations to align product capabilities with client needs.
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring gig workers and clients have a seamless experience.
- Monitor platform analytics (conversion rates, engagement, NPS) and optimize for growth.
What You’ll Own
- 🎯 Product development including monetization: Research current gig platform models, design and develop the features and functionalities that best fit our model
- 📊 Marketing: Lead brand positioning, product launch & advertising campaigns by leveraging your knowledge and applying optimal strategies for brand awareness and growth
- 💰 Business Development: create the value propositions and engage potential Gig Employers from lead to Client.
- 🌍 Stakeholder Engagement: Design/validate product vision & roadmap, engage stakeholders for every functional area of responsibility to drive execution against proposed plan
- 🏆 Continuous Improvement: Analyse data, identify trends, and drive adoption process and system enhancements.
What You Bring
- More than 6 years of experience in product management and/or business development which includes client facing interactions and even sales ideally in platform or marketplace businesses.
- Proven success in launching and scaling digital products.
- Business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset are strong advantages
- Persuasive communication skills as well as ability to navigate various stakeholder relationships in a global, fast-paced, client-centric environment
- Strategic thinking, project management and process improvement skills
- Crowdsourcing expertise and Social Media/SEO expertise are required.
