About the Role
The Product Engineer supports new product introductions, engineering changes, technical documentation management, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. The role works closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to improve efficiency, quality, cost performance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Documentation & NPI

• Create and modify Technical Files (TF) in the Valor system.
• Create and manage projects in the ERP system.
• Generate and analyze NPI (New Product Introduction) reports.
• Assist other engineers in setting up new projects.
• Apply industrial engineering principles, statistical analysis, process optimization techniques, and relevant engineering software.

Engineering Changes & Production Support

• Support implementation of engineering changes (ECO/ECN) into production.
• Check technical specifications for components in production.
• Cooperate with Production on technical aspects of components.
• Offer continuous engineering support for production-related technical issues.

Cost & Continuous Improvement

• Analyze production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality, including process optimization, integration of new technologies, and productivity improvements while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.
• Work with Production, Quality Control, and Management to ensure alignment and effectively implement changes.

Materials & Prototyping

• Coordinate PCB and stencil orders and ensure material readiness for prototypes and product changes.

Workplace Standards

• Maintain order and cleanliness at the workplace in accordance with 5S and ESD standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience: Background in manufacturing, process engineering, or industrial engineering.
• Knowledge: Process optimization, statistical analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Tools: Experience with ERP systems and engineering documentation tools.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Languages: English – Advanced.
