The Product Management & Market Intelligence Manager will be responsible for areas such as product strategy and lifecycle steering, pricing and profitability coordination, retention and financial services insights. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the automotive industry, ideally within product management or financial services.
Main Responsibilities:
• Monitor, analyse, and interpret automotive market trends, customer behaviour, competitor strategies, regulatory developments, and product/FS dynamics. Prepare comprehensive insight reports and strategic recommendations for decision‑making.
• Support the definition and evolution of the product strategy, including equipment positioning, lifecycle actions, and model introduction preparation. Ensure analytical foundations for product decisions and coordinate lifecycle execution with the Product & Campaign Specialist.
• Oversee pricing logic, competitive benchmarking (BEA/AEA), and positioning analyses executed by the Product Management & Pricing Specialist. Ensure alignment with sales targets, profitability requirements, and market dynamics. Review annual pricing cycles and profitability simulations.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and analytical models to evaluate sales volumes, mix, competitiveness, FS penetration, profitability, retention performance, and product execution KPIs. Translate data into actionable insights and early‑warning signals.
• Lead, coach, and develop the two specialists in the team. Ensure workload distribution and performance evaluations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• University degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Data Science
• High digital literacy, including familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and data integration projects. The ability to adapt to evolving technological landscapes and leverage digital tools for enhanced efficiency and transparency is expected.
• Solid understanding of financial metrics, pricing strategies, and profitability analysis
• A proven ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
• Strong facilitation and negotiation skills are vital for effective cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities, a proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset. A strong customer orientation and the ability to identify and address business challenges effectively are key.
