About this Role

We are seeking a Product Manager to support the planning, development, optimisation, and lifecycle management of telecom and technology products for Vodafone Business. Operating within the Platform Architecture & Design function, the individual will work closely with technical, commercial, and cross-functional teams to transform customer and market needs into scalable hardware and software solutions. The role involves defining product vision, prioritising requirements, leading product enhancements, and ensuring high-quality, cost‑effective services across markets.

What you will do

Collect and clarify customer requirements for telecom services and translate them into clear functional and technical specifications for software and hardware platforms.Conduct market analysis and document market requirements for product evolution.Build and manage business cases to support product development and investment decisions.Support the launch and availability of products in the market.Track commercial and service performance, recommending improvements based on data and insights.Provide support to local sales teams with relevant global and regional information on sales, operations, competitive landscape, and market trends.Collaborate closely with technical support teams, marketing, commercial teams, and legal stakeholders through all phases of platform development.Provide solutions during project phases and recommend actions to mitigate identified risks, including specifying technical details, non‑functional requirements, and security and privacy standards.Be accountable for adapting and modifying software solutions on equipment to enhance system performance and customer experience.

Who you are

Experienced in SAFe agile product development within the telecom or technology sector, ideally as a Product Owner or Product Manager.Knowledgeable about the software development lifecycle and familiar with structured and agile methodologies and tools.Strong in project management, with proven experience in delivering complex initiatives.An excellent communicator with strong negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and presentation abilities, and a growth mindset.Understanding telecom products and services, enabling effective evaluation of business feasibility.Skilled in using data-driven insights to propose process improvements.Able to analyse customer requirements, evaluate their impact on existing systems, and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Holds a university degree in computer science, electrical, electronic, or telecommunications engineering, or a related technical field.Possesses a minimum of five years’ experience in a mobile operator or global technology organisation.Certified in SAFe, PRINCE2, or formal project/programme management.Experienced in consulting or selling IT services, customer analysis, and competitive analysis.
