About the Role

The position details are as follows:

Responsibilities

• Responsible for interpreting and analyzing OEM’s subsystem-level requirement documents (SSTS) and component-level specifications (CTS) for vehicle functional domains, with a focus on developing integrated vehicle subsystem requirement specifications. Key domains include:
• Body and comfort functions: exterior lighting, interior ambient lighting, seat adjustment control, driving modes, chassis/powertrain integration, window controls, closures (doors/hatches), and auxiliary device management.
• ADAS settings and integrated vehicle configuration/small device controls.
• Energy management/charging management.
• HVAC controls, fragrance systems, and seat comfort features.
• General system settings: Bluetooth/WIFI/audio/display.
• DMS/OMS camera recognition and monitoring.
• Familiar with the above functional domains across fuel, PHEV hybrid, and pure electric vehicle platforms.
• Interface with customer roles (e.g., DRE, EEA architects) to clarify and translate requirements into SSRD functional domain/subsystem product documentation. Responsibilities include defining requirements, signal usage, signal logic, state transitions, and exception scenarios.
• Collaborate with customers to align on business and system logic requirements, conduct reviews/clarifications with domain controller UED/development/test teams, release requirement documentation, and manage CR (Change Request) processes.
• Understand central control system HMI design specifications and collaborate closely with UED teams to ensure alignment between requirements, UX design, and UI visual design.
• Familiar with vehicle network management (NM), power management, functional diagnostics, communication diagnostics, and DTC fault diagnostics.
• Knowledgeable in maintaining and managing customer communication matrices (CanMatrix/DBC files) and coordinating version control with R&D teams.
• Participate in technical solution reviews during software development and assist in resolving bugs/issues/defects in development and testing phases.
• Support integration/functional testing and participate in real-vehicle testing and calibration.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in systems engineering or DRE roles for IVI/instrument cluster/body subsystems.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Software, or related fields.
• Proficient in requirements analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., Axure, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, ALM), with the ability to independently conduct requirement analysis, document writing, product prototyping, and requirement management.
• Familiar with IVI host system architecture, CDC domain controller architecture, and vehicle EEA architecture.
• Knowledgeable in AutoSAR architecture and automotive communication protocols (UDS, CAN/LIN/ETH, NM, TP, XCP, etc.).
• Skilled in using simulation and analysis tools such as CANoe and CANape.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, patience to grow with the company and team, resilience in facing challenges, and innovative problem-solving skills.
• In-depth research and unique insights into popular automotive products and applications in the market.
• Understanding of V-model development processes for automotive electronic software, and quality frameworks such as TS16949/ASPICE/CMMI.
