The Product Specialist Wall & Floor will play a key role in developing and managing the products dedicated to flooring and wall applications within the Bostik Romania portfolio. The role will work closely with the sales, marketing and trade marketing teams and will report directly to the Business Manager Romania.

About Product Specialist Wall & Floor role:


Responsibilities


  • Manage the current Wall & Floor product portfolio (treatment, coating, and bonding solutions for floors and walls) and support product development based on local market opportunities — including product positioning, pricing strategies, new product launches, and post-launch monitoring.
  • Provide technical support to the field sales team, contributing to sales growth in line with departmental objectives.
  • Offer technical assistance (pre- and post-sales) to customers using Wall & Floor products.
  • Deliver technical training to the sales team and customers through the Technical Academy, on job sites, and at company events.
  • Prepare technical documentation for the assigned product range: technical data sheets, certifications, application guides, product comparisons, and more.
  • Define and implement product strategies; plan and execute marketing activities tailored to different customer segments.
  • Analyze sales performance regularly and propose improvement actions.
  • Gather and analyze market insights related to clients, competitors, consumers, and internal data for the coordinated product category.
  • Conduct regular market visits to profile customers and active construction projects.
  • Perform internal research at group level to support portfolio development and propose innovative products, concepts, and business growth opportunities.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally.


Requirements


  • University degree in a commercial or technical field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Commercial mindset with strong analytical and negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Intermediate English language skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
