At our factory network Siemens AG develops and manufactures electric motors for the global market. Our target customers are in the field of automation technology, in the automotive industry and in the field of intra-logistics.
We are planning to expand our Oradea plant into an even larger, modern, and more powerful Siemens Mechatronic Competence Center! This isn’t just an expansion; it is a true transformation. As part of this strategic business development, we will be building a brand-new, state-of-the-art manufacturing area in Oradea. This new space will integrate critical parts of our production and associated support functions, creating a unified, high-performance hub for mechatronic expertise within Siemens.
Oradea will become one of Siemens’ key competence centers, with new colleagues joining us, new technologies being implemented, and new capabilities strengthening our overall footprint.
Based in Oradea, we are looking for a Production Manager to help us optimize and manage our industrial engineering activities.
What part will you play?

• Coordinate the production operations of the plant.
• Plan and monitor daily production targets according to established requirements.
• Contribute to and implement productions plans. Ensure optimum machine utilization and product scheduling, smooth material flow and production processes.
• Lead and develop the production team, supporting ongoing professional training.
• Analyze downtime, quality deviations, and performance gaps; implement corrective actions to optimize resources and processes. Drive productivity growth and continuous quality improvement, reducing defects and waste.
• Assess the required personnel, equipment and tools necessary for production.
• Implement manufacturing guidelines and procedures, and develop and implement related processes, methods and/or tools.
• Ensure adherence at any time to relevant internal and local EHS standards.
• Ensure availability of working instructions, rules and guidelines for all productions sections, shifts or production lines.
• Collaborate with support departments to optimize workflows and apply Lean principles.
  

What You Need To Make Real What Matters.

• University degree in technical field: Machines Construction Technology / Electro-Mechanics.
• Proven experience in manufacturing management. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Expertise in process planning, layout design, and workflow optimization.
• Good knowledge of industrial engineering tools and methodologies (e.g., time studies, capacity planning, value stream mapping).
• Project management expertise.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in all production-related activities (e.g. equipment layout, workflow design, and accidental prevention measures)
• Ability to drive organizational change and process optimization
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
• Strategic thinking with attention to operational details
