About the Role

As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing production plans using the E-PPDS tool in SAP S/4HANA. Your main goal will be to ensure a balanced and efficient use of production capacity, enabling timely delivery of customer orders while minimizing production losses. You will work closely with multiple departments — including Supply Planning, Production, Quality, Maintenance, Injection Molding, and Internal Logistics — to align plans, identify risks, and continuously improve planning performance.

You're a Great Fit If You:

• Have at least 2 years of experience in production planning;
• Are fluent in English, both spoken and written;
• Bring solid working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA E-PPDS or similar advanced planning tools;
• Understand production processes, capacity management, and scheduling principles;
• Possess an analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills;
• Communicate effectively and collaborate well across cross‑functional teams;
• Work proactively, in a structured and process‑oriented manner, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Production Planning & Scheduling: Plan and maintain production capacity using the E-PPDS tool in S/4HANA, ensuring an optimal production sequence and resource utilization;
• Order Management: Create, release, and monitor production orders in coordination with production execution teams;
• Capacity Optimization: Re-schedule and adjust plans to minimize downtime, losses, and bottlenecks, ensuring a smooth production flow;
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Participate in regular production planning meetings to align with Quality, Maintenance, Injection Molding, and Internal Logistics functions;
• Supply Chain Coordination: Communicate with Supply Planning to manage material availability risks and adjust plans accordingly;
• Customer Prioritization: Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer priorities are reflected in the production schedule;
• Bottleneck Management & Escalation: Identify potential bottlenecks or blocking points and coordinate timely resolution or escalation;
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvement opportunities within the production planning process to enhance performance, flexibility, and reliability.
