Cognizant Romania was established in 2018 when Cognizant acquired Softvision, a company founded in the late 1990s in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The role combines financial oversight and strategic reporting to support transformation and performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and co-facilitate monthly budget monitoring committees with Finance
• Analyze budget variances and implement corrective action plans.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Monitor the Landing Plan (LP) and ensure alignment with forecasts.
• Coordinate the annual budget planning process (planning, analysis, arbitration, synthesis).
• Maintain and review the contract database.
• Produce and analyze monthly KPIs related to operational activity (volumes, Run indicators, workload planning).
• Support internal transformation projects within the division.
• Manage the Virtual Team and weekly presentations.
• Prepare and deliver monthly presentations comparing budget vs actual expenses.

2. Profile

• Strong background in project management, finance, or operations.
• Experience in budget control, KPI analysis, and contract management.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and IT teams.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
• Available to work on French business hours (CET time zone).
