This position combines project management, scrum master responsibilities, and operational process management, with a strong emphasis on project delivery. You will actively drive and support the team in delivering its book of work.

The team:

• Performs security assessments of Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure services, determining how to secure them and implementing “guardrails” to ensure proper usage and detect misconfigurations.

• Supports and maintains this guardrail framework, responding to queries from development teams across the Bank.

• Collaborates closely with client cloud infrastructure teams to align priorities and tooling for guardrail deployment.

• Undertakes continuous improvement initiatives and advises on broader cloud security aspects.

• Is led from London, with team members located in Bucharest and Cary, NC, USA.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Cloud Control Plane Security leads in driving delivery of the team’s projects.

• Act as Scrum Master, organizing agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, daily standups).

• Manage small projects outside the team’s standard service scope.

• Maintain the team’s Jira project and ensure ticket hygiene.

• Provide high-quality management reporting and escalate risks/blockers as needed.

• Produce regular metrics to support team operations and demonstrate control effectiveness to auditors.

Skills & Experience

Required:

• Proven experience in IT Project Management.

• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).

• Proficiency in Jira.

• Excellent written communication skills in English.

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Ability to create professional reports, presentations, and charts.

Desirable:

• Experience in organizations implementing or using public cloud services.

• Exposure to engineering teams using DevOps or CI/CD practices.
