Project Manager (Contract)

We are looking for a contract Project Manager who brings structure, clarity, and consistency to complex projects. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication across multiple workstreams.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and tracking project progress, maintaining dashboards and documentation, and ensuring alignment between team members and leadership. You are comfortable managing priorities, identifying risks, and keeping projects on schedule.

CONTRACT RANGE

$3,800 – $4,500 USD per month

CONTRACT DURATION

15 Months (August 2026 - October 2027)

Remote

*May be occasional requests to be on site in Bucharest for workshops as needed

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Coordinate multiple workstreams, acting as a central point of alignment between functional leads, stakeholders, and the core team.
• Maintain and evolve detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, and dashboards.
• Support planning, execution, and readiness activities to keep workstreams aligned and delivering.
• Identify risks, issues, and performance gaps early—and work with leaders to drive corrective action before they become problems.
• Turn data, analysis, and business insights into clear updates, practical recommendations, and actionable next steps.
• Help teams navigate ambiguity with professionalism, empathy, and clarity.
• Build executive briefings and success stories that spotlight wins and surface risks.
• Lead change management efforts — content, training, enablement — that drive adoption and efficiency.
• Communicate agendas, notes, and reference materials to keep teams informed.
• Support program activities with deliverables like slides, spreadsheets, and reference docs.
• Partner across functions to ensure timelines, dependencies, and priorities stay on track.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience project managing complex, cross-functional initiatives in technical, operational, or integration-heavy environments.
• Strong aptitude and comfort working with detailed systems, dependencies, and data.
• Highly curious with ability to digest information quickly and apply insights.
• High confidence in verbal and written communication – you enjoy facilitating discussions and guiding teams toward alignment.
• Ability to move at a fast pace while helping others stay aligned and grounded.
• Developed leadership skills, including facilitation and conflict resolution.
• High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and a calm presence under pressure.
• Comfort working in visible roles where interaction is constant and ability to influence is key.
• Proficiency with Smartsheet or similar project management tools.
• Skilled at developing status reports, dashboards, and executive-ready presentations.
• Experience leading change management and training initiatives.
