Fiba Renewable Energy, a subsidiary of Fiba Group, was established in 2007 in Turkiye to develop renewable energy projects and build modern, efficient production facilities. As part of our international expansion, Fiba Renewable Energy will collaborate with Anchor Grup, another long-standing Fiba Group company which has been active since 1997 in real estate development, in Eastern Europe and with a strong presence and deep-rooted experience in Romania. Through this collaboration, we aim to deliver integrated, high-quality and sustainable solutions by combining our renewable energy expertise with Anchor Grup’s local market expertise.

Role Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of solar and wind energy projects in Romania. Acting as the key liaison between the company, governmental institutions, and external partners, this person will ensure that all project phases—from permitting to construction and commissioning—are delivered on schedule, within scope, and in line with corporate standards. The role requires a proactive professional who will serve in coordinating technical, regulatory, and operational activities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Liaison with Public Institutions:

Coordinate and manage communication with relevant governmental and regulatory bodies, including Transelectrica (TEL), ANRE, municipalities, and environmental authorities, throughout the permitting and execution phases.

• Project Planning, Control, and Reporting:

Oversee project progress in line with approved schedules and milestones. Ensure accurate tracking, risk management, and regular reporting to senior management.

• Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with internal departments (engineering, procurement, legal, finance) to align local project activities with corporate policies and objectives.

• Corporate Culture and Compliance:

Demonstrate adaptability to corporate culture, uphold ethical business conduct, and ensure that all operations comply with company procedures and Romanian energy laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field (electrical, civil, or mechanical engineering).
• Minimum five years of professional experience in solar and/or wind energy project development, with a proven record of successful project delivery.
• Native Romanian speaker with fluent English (spoken and written).
• Resident in Romania, Bucharest and familiar with local administrative and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong understanding of energy sector regulations and proven ability to engage with public authorities.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, organizational, and coordination abilities.
• Independent, motivated, and disciplined work approach with a strong work ethic.
