In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Ensuring understanding, handling and satisfying each requirement or expectation from customers or company’s collaborators through remote communication or site visits, acting as a trusted advisor;
• Taking full ownership of the delivery of the assigned technical and commercial large size and/or sophisticated project proposals scope by leading team of Project Proposal Engineers, within Emerson Systems & Software projects business portfolio, following the standard process;
• Working as a Solution Architect, applying technical expertise for the conceptual design development of Emerson solution, fulfilling customers’ requirements; providing task / sub-scope allocation and control for other team members working on proposal;
• Ensuring the innovative and efficient solutions are proposed;
• Proactively applying methodologies, resources and techniques for minimizing the proposal preparation effort, whilst maintaining the requisite schedule and quality;
• Ensuring collaborators and proposal team members are proactively informed on the status or any challenges;
• Acting as Project Proposal Senior Engineer delivering small and medium size project proposals;
• Facilitating creation of an inclusive and encouraging environment for all personnel within the project proposal team to ensure its high performance in drafting proposals; 
• Acquiring, maintaining, and actively sharing knowledge and experience with the team and the more comprehensive organization;
• Supporting on-the-job development of other colleagues; 
• Acting as Solution Architect for applications in one of the process industries;
• Taking other responsibilities or tasks, including those related to Ethics and Information Security policies within the skills and abilities, whenever reasonably instructed. The business reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments in line with business requirements.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Engineering field
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• Experience in process automation field for various industries
• Good technical understanding of process automation, DCS (Distributed Control System) and/or PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, computer infrastructure and network architecture
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Experience with direct customer contact and managing expectations
• Experience in technical team leadership
