Task description:

• Design quality objectives
• Define QM measures

• Prepare internal release and EMPB
• Contact person for the overall project manager and TPL's of other areas in the project
• Collaboration in the overall project planning
• Reporting of subproject key figures

• Ensuring visual inspection of samples before delivery
• Coordination of external quality issues in the development phase (e.g. customer complaints)
• Participation in APQP milestone reviews

Responsibility:

• Define QM measures
• Escalation in case of deviations from the Q targets
• Verify QM measures implemented
• Report QM status independent of project structure
• Create and review the "Quality Assurance in the Project Manual" chapter
• Demand quality measures in project rule communication
• Adhere to subproject specifications (deadlines, costs, quality)
• Ensure necessary information in the subproject
• Timely indication and, if necessary, escalation of problems
• Identify project risks
• Ensure process compliance
• Qualification-appropriate use of team members in the subproject

Powers / Competences:

• Access to all project documents
• Access to all information necessary for the subproject regarding time, costs, quality
• Demanding the defined measures and the resulting work results within the QM activities
• Locking samples and sample material
• Organization and moderation of meetings
• Communicating sub-project specific issues with customers and suppliers
• Making decisions in the subproject within the framework of the subproject specifications (e.g.: escalation, changes)
• Evaluation, planning and assignment of QM measures in the project
• Veto right for APQP milestone reviews and reviews
