Adecco is recruiting on behalf of our client, a global leader in fire and security solutions, for a Team leader PtP position.

The AP Team Leader oversees the Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely processing of invoices, vendor payments, and compliance with policies. The role includes team management and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders, particularly for French-speaking entities.

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end AP processes including invoice processing, payments, and vendor reconciliation

- Ensure adherence to payment terms and optimize working capital

- Monitor invoice queues and ensure SLA compliance

- Manage vendor queries and escalations in a timely manner

- Ensure compliance with tax regulations (e.g., VAT) and internal controls

- Support audits and implement corrective actions

- Drive process improvements and automation (e.g., e-invoicing, OCR tools)

- Collaborate with procurement and RTR teams

a) Managerial skills:

- Supervise and mentor AP team members

- Conduct performance reviews and training sessions

- Monitor productivity and quality KPIs

- Foster a collaborative and service-oriented team environment

b) Technical Skills :

- Understanding of Ptp and accounting principles

- Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel (intermediate level)

- Familiar with AP systems of engagement and automations

- Leverage data analytics to improve decision-making

- Drive standardization and process simplification

c) Soft Skills :

- Detail-oriented attention to detail, accuracy, and rigor

- Reliability and strict adherence to procedures and deadlines

- Good service mindset and internal customer orientation

- Ability to work effectively within a multicultural team environment

- Clear, professional, and constructive communication

- Proactivity, adaptability, and ability to manage priorities

- Respect for confidentiality and Group ethical standards

Candidate Profile

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred

- 4–6 years of AP experience

- Prior people management experience

- Strong understanding of procure-to-pay processes

- ERP experience (JDE / Oracle preferred)

- Fluent in French and English

- Strong organizational and communication skills

- Experience in Capability Centers / BPO environment

- Knowledge of automation tools and digital finance solutions
