They will collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, Business Development, Product, Engineering, public authorities, consultants, and consortium partners.Location: Brașov, with flexibility to travel to Bucharest as needed.Employment Type: Full-TimeDepartment: Business DevelopmentKey ResponsibilitiesFunding strategy and acquisition• Develop and maintain Orbotix’s public-funding and state-aid strategy.• Identify relevant Romanian, European, and international grants, subsidies, incentives, and financing instruments.• Monitor funding relevant funding programs• Assess opportunities based on eligibility, strategic relevance, funding intensity, co-financing requirements, timing, and execution risk.• Advise management on the most suitable funding instruments for planned investments and development projects.• Develop a structured pipeline of funding opportunities, applications, and funded projects.Applications and project structuring• Lead the preparation and submission of grant and state-aid applications.• Develop project structures, work plans, budgets, financial models, and funding scenarios.• Coordinate technical, financial, legal, and administrative contributions from internal teams.• Translate technical and commercial plans into clear and credible funding applications.• Coordinate external consultants, research institutions, industry partners, and consortium members.• Support consortium formation and define partner responsibilities, budgets, and required documentation.• Manage communication, clarifications, and negotiations with funding authorities during the application and contracting process.Financial execution and compliance• Manage the financial execution of awarded projects.• Establish project budgets, forecasts, cost-allocation methods, and financial-monitoring processes.• Monitor expenditure, eligible costs, co-financing requirements, and project cash flow.• Coordinate reimbursement requests, payment claims, and supporting documentation.• Ensure that procurement, personnel costs, time records, subcontracting, and other expenditures comply with funding conditions.• Track project milestones, deliverables, contractual obligations, and reporting deadlines.• Prepare financial and administrative reports for funding authorities.• Maintain complete and audit-ready project documentation.• Coordinate financial reviews, inspections, and audits.• Identify compliance risks early and implement corrective measures.• Work with Finance and Legal to ensure compliance with state-aid, accounting, tax, procurement, and contractual requirements.Requirements4–6 years of experience in public financing, state aid, grant consulting, grant acquisition, or the financial management of funded projects.Demonstrated experience preparing successful grant or state-aid applications.Experience working with national and European funding programs.Strong understanding of the full funding lifecycle, from opportunity assessment and application through contracting, execution, reporting, and audit.Solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cost eligibility, and cash-flow management.Experience coordinating complex applications involving technical teams, external partners, or project consortia.Strong project-management and organizational skills.Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage several applications and projects simultaneously.Ability to interpret complex funding rules and translate them into practical internal requirements.Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.Fluent English;
