Your Mission

As Purchaser / Buyer, you will be responsible for strategic and operational procurement activities for the Oradea site. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, components, and services. You will support development projects, conduct market analyses, and drive cost optimization initiatives. You will play a key role in ensuring quality and cost-efficiency while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Your Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with national and international suppliers
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Engineering, Production, Logistics) to define procurement needs
• Maintain supplier performance metrics and initiate corrective actions when necessary
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement projects

Your Profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain management, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Experienced in working in projects
• Persuasion skills and assertiveness
• Analytical mindset and holistic thinking
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems
• Analytical mindset and ability to work independently and in teams
• Fluent in Romanian and English; German or other European languages are a plus
• Willingness to travel
