About the Role

As a Python Developer, you’ll work closely with key stakeholders and contribute across the full Software Development Life Cycle—from gathering requirements to designing solutions and delivering high‑quality, scalable systems. You’ll create high‑level design artifacts, lead development and testing activities, and support implementation and transition processes.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain data transformations and analytics using Python and PySpark
• Design and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes leveraging Azure Data Services and Databricks
• Configure and manage Databricks Unity Catalog for secure and structured data governance
• Use Apache Airflow to orchestrate workflows and automate processes
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver impactful, high‑quality data solutions in an Agile setup
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Manage code versions and branching strategies using Git
• Write and execute unit tests to ensure quality and reliability
• Monitor and optimize data processes for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency

What You’ll Bring

Required Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python and PySpark
• Good understanding of Python fundamentals (OOP, functions, exceptions, file handling) and Pandas
• Solid experience with Azure data tools (ADF, ADLS, Synapse, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, including Unity Catalog
• Experience working with Apache Airflow
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)
• Strong Git version control experience
• Understanding of unit testing frameworks for data pipelines
• Experience working in Agile teams (Jira, Azure Boards, etc.)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java, Spark, Hive, Hadoop, Bash
• Familiarity with job schedulers such as Control‑M
