Python Integration Developer

About the Role

Our team is building an integration framework that enables seamless delivery of content and features to customers through self-service solutions. By driving standardization and automation, we aim to improve efficiency across internal systems and customer platforms.

We are looking for a Python Integration Developer to join our integration team and support the development and maintenance of integrations between customer helpdesk platforms/CMDBs and our custom support systems.

You will work in a dynamic, multi-cloud environment (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) as well as on-premise data centers, following Agile/SCRUM methodologies.

It’s a 12-month fixed-term opportunity via B2B collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop web integrations and standalone scripts to automate internal processes and support customer solutions
• Design and implement new features
• Maintain and improve existing software products
• Collaborate with technical and analyst teams
• Contribute to technical analysis and solution design for new developments
• Work on highly technical solutions primarily used by internal engineering teams

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-5 years of experience with Python and Django (including Django REST Framework)
• Experience building web applications and APIs (Flask or FastAPI is a plus)
• Knowledge of relational databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and Git
• Experience writing SQL queries and understanding TCP/IP networking basics
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, event-driven design, CQRS, and message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like JIRA
• Basic knowledge of Docker

Nice to Have

• Experience with other scripting languages (JavaScript, PHP, Ruby)
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Splunk, Sentry, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Interest in systems and infrastructure (Linux, NGINX, Apache, IIS)
• Database administration experience (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Basic knowledge of OpenShift and ArgoCD
• Frontend development knowledge (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap) or frameworks like React, Angular, Node.js, Vue.js
