Main Responsibilities:

Test Design & Execution

• Defines and executes test cases / scenarios rigorously according to specifications
• Performs manual and automated functional tests
• Executes end-to-end and regression suites using automation tools: (Cypress preferred)
• Creates and maintains BDD test scenarios
• Conducts exploratory testing to identify defects, risks, and behavioural inconsistencies

Test Automation & Framework Development

• Develops and maintains automated test scripts to optimize QA execution speed and coverage
• Structures test automation using modern patterns (POM, reusable steps)
• Assists in configuring automated test pipelines in CI/CD environments
• Provides test evidence, execution logs, and documentation

Test Environment & Data Management

• Supports preparation of test data and validation of environment readiness
• Validates application behaviour across migration stages and environments
• Assists in troubleshooting environment-specific issues with developers

Defect Management & Collaboration

• Reports, tracks, and documents defects using JIRA or equivalent tooling
• Collaborates with developers to debug issues and improve test reliability
• Participates in daily meetings to provide visibility on test results, defects, and risks
• Contributes to improving incident management and resolution processes

Quality Governance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensures QA processes and best practices are followed throughout the project
• Provides feedback on test coverage, risks, and potential gaps
• Contributes to the definition of regression suites and automation priorities
• Identifies opportunities to optimize test execution and tooling

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with at least one automation tool (Cypress preferred)
• Intermediate knowledge of programming/scripting: JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar
• Experience with version control systems (GitLab, GitHub)
• Experience in a QA Role
• Knowledge of test techniques
• Basic understanding of CI/CD Workflows and pipeline execution
• Experience with SQL databases: PostgreSQL, MariaDB, SQL Server, Oracle
• Experience with both Linux and Windows environments
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (OIDC / SAML)
• Ability to write structured defect reports and test documentation

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to Performance testing
• Understanding of cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code or DevOps tooling
• •ISTQB Certification
