Your Responsibilities:

• Work together with our software development team (scrum, 2 week sprints)
• Test new functionality and changes as regular work in the sprint (Web Portal, Mobile Application, APIs)
• Manage test cases and eventual supporting documentation
• Configure, use, and manage test environments and test data
• Automate API tests using RestAssured/Java/JUnit
• Automate Web Application tests using Cypress/Playwright (TypeScript)
• Regression testing
• Exploratory testing
• Coach other team members in relevant aspects of testing
• Actively collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, especially in terms of testability, consistency, and completeness
• Ensure the appropriate testing tasks are scheduled depending on context
• Have a basic understanding on how our monitoring and alerting tools work

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field
• Hands-on experience with test automation
• Knowledge of testing fundamentals, concepts, techniques, best practices
• API testing know-how
• Good written/verbal English language skills
• Good written/verbal communication skills
• 4+ years of proven experience as a QA engineer (manual & automation)
• Experience in testing web applications, APIs, mobile applications
• Experience with RestAssured/Postman
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies for effective collaboration with inter-disciplinary teams
• Knowledge of various programming languages (e.g., Java, Typescript)
• Experience using acceptance testing tools (e.g.,Playwright/Cypress/Selenium)
• Experience using project tracking software (e.g., JIRA)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and messaging systems (Kafka)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to self-onboard on new topics
