We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join a quality engineering team working on complex web and mobile applications for a final client in the banking industry.

This is a hands-on role focused on building and improving automation frameworks, rather than simply executing existing test suites. You will have a high level of autonomy and ownership over test coverage, framework development, defect investigation, and test planning.

What you’ll be working on

You will design, develop, and maintain automated tests and frameworks for web and mobile applications using Java, Cucumber, and Selenium. You will also investigate application logs, identify root causes and recurring failure patterns, manage test cases and test plans, and collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams.

What we’re looking for

• At least 4 years of hands-on test automation experience
• Strong experience with Java
• Practical project experience with Cucumber / BDD
• Strong knowledge of Selenium
• Experience developing, extending, or maintaining automation frameworks, including internal or proprietary frameworks
• Hands-on experience testing both web and mobile applications
• Ability to investigate application logs and diagnose technical issues
• Experience with structured test planning and test case management tools
• Autonomous, communicative, collaborative, and quality-focused approach

Experience with Appium or another mobile automation framework, Azure, and object-oriented programming in Java would be considered an advantage.

• Hybrid working model: approximately 1 day per week on-site / 4 days per month
