Expertise extends to robust test automation, leveraging languages like Java.We are looking for an QA Automation Engineer with GCP to create the next big thing in digital banking.What You’ll Be DoingAnalyze business and technical requirements to gain a deep understanding of data flows, business logic, and system architecture, with a particular focus on database interactions and cloud integrationsContribute to the creation and implementation of the overall Test Strategy and Test Plans, while taking ownership of defining specific, comprehensive test scenarios for data, application logic, and cloud componentsContribute to test effort estimation and proactively identify risks, particularly those related to data integrity, performance, and scalability on cloud platformsDesign, write, and maintain Test Cases to validate data integrity, transformation logic, and the accuracy of reporting outputs across various systems, including Oracle and GCP data servicesCover all aspects of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and End-to-End (E2E), with an emphasis on data-driven and API testingCreate and manage the test data required to validate complex scenarios, including large datasets for performance and stress testing in cloud environmentsRigorously execute testing activities, analyze, and document the results in detail, utilizing appropriate tools and frameworks (e.g., Java-based automation)Identify, troubleshoot, and document defects in JIRA, providing clear and detailed information for the development teams, including steps to reproduce issues in complex data and cloud architecturesRetest corrections to ensure defects are fully resolvedCoordinate testing activities with internal teams, third-party vendors, and business users (UAT Support)Drive adherence to Deutsche Bank's testing standards and promote best practices within the team, particularly in data testing, cloud testing, and test automationOrganize monthly demo sessions to present project status to stakeholdersActively contributes to the continuous improvement of development and testing processes, including fostering a culture of quality and automation What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldMinimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software testing, with a strong, demonstrated focus on complex data-centric projects and backend systems.Expertise in Database Testing: Strong, hands-on experience testing Oracle Databases is mandatory. This includes Data Integrity & Quality Validation, Database Objects Testing, Source-to-Target Validation, and Advanced SQL skillsCloud Data Platform Experience: Proven experience or strong familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub) and ability to test applications and data pipelines deployed on GCPTest Automation & Programming Skills: Solid programming skills in Java for developing robust and scalable test automation frameworks and scripts. Hands-on experience with tools like Selenium WebDriver, REST Assured, JUnit/TestNG leveraging JavaProven experience with Agile methodologies and SDLC.
