We support projects across multiple industries such as Telecommunications, Automotive, e-Commerce, Banking, Insurance, and the Public Sector, contributing to complex platforms and large-scale digital solutions.
The QA Automation Engineer is responsible for the planning, execution, and documentation of software tests to ensure the quality, functionality, and stability of software solutions. This role plays an important part in defect prevention and improving customer satisfaction, ensuring that applications meet both functional and technical requirements.
What You'll Be Doing

• Design and implement automated tests, write BDD test scenarios in Gherkin using Cucumber
• Manage automated test cases and test execution in Jira with Xray to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Develop and maintain user-facing features using modern JavaScript frameworks
• Analyze requirements and specifications to design and create test cases
• Plan and execute manual and/or automated tests
• Document test results and create defect reports
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members
• Reproduce, analyze, and track software defects
• Develop and maintain test plans, test data, and testing environments
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes
• Support the release and acceptance process
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and team collaboration activities
  

What You'll Bring Along

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field
• Experience in software testing, ideally in Agile projects (e.g., Scrum)
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, test management, and test documentation
• Experience working with test management tools (e.g., JIRA / Xray)
• Experience writing and maintaining test specifications using Gherkin syntax (Given–When–Then)
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber
• Basic knowledge of programming languages is considered a plus
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git) is an advantage
• ISTQB certification is considered an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German are a mandatory requirement for this role
