We are looking for a highly skilled
QA Automation Lead with strong expertise in Test Automation, particularly using Playwright, and a solid background in driving quality initiatives end-to-end. This role involves partnering closely with Product Owners and development teams, defining quality requirements, setting automation strategies, and ensuring seamless coordination with stakeholders across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze quality requirements from Product Owners and translate them into actionable testing and automation strategies.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure alignment on testing needs and project goals.
• Define and drive the automation roadmap and broader quality transformation initiatives.
• Oversee implementation of automation solutions with a strong hands-on understanding of Playwright.
• Partner and communicate effectively with teams distributed across various geographies, ensuring smooth coordination.
• Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and ensure accurate tracking and updates within JIRA.
• Promote and maintain strong JIRA hygiene to support transparency and efficient project tracking.
• Championing best practices in Quality Engineering and provide consulting to teams on frameworks, methodologies, and continuous improvement.
• Lead quality initiatives and act as the primary point of contact for QA activities.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QA Lead, Product QA Lead, or similar leadership role in Quality Engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Test Automation, especially with Playwright.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working in cross-functional and cross-geographical teams.
• Solid understanding of QE processes, test lifecycle, and automation best practices.
• Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, and other test/defect management tools.
