We're looking for a QA Engineer (B2B/contract) to test integrations between a fast-growing consumer-tech platform and its group SAP environment.

This is primarily a manual role with a strong technical focus (exposure to testing APIs, data, integrations, and backend processes).

You'll own quality from requirements through release validation, working with SAP, product, finance, operations, BA, and engineering teams.

Your role with us:

•          You'll test end-to-end flows connecting internal platforms with SAP ERP.

•          You'll turn requirements into risk-based scenarios covering APIs, data, integrations, and business rules.

•          You'll take ownership of test planning, execution, defects, and release confidence.

What you'll actually do:

👉 Test business-critical integrations

•          Design and execute test cases for orders, inventory, returns, payments, invoices, and master data.

•          Perform functional, integration, end-to-end, and regression testing across internal systems and SAP.

•          Test APIs using Postman or similar tools, validating payloads, authentication, status codes, and errors.

•          Verify outcomes using SQL, application logs, and system records.

👉 Investigate issues technically

•          Reproduce and document defects with clear steps, evidence, expected results, and impact.

•          Trace issues across services, APIs, queues, databases, and SAP interfaces.

•          Validate failures, retries, data consistency, and recovery behaviour.

👉 Keep delivery structured and moving

•          Collaborate with BAs, Java developers, SAP teams, and stakeholders.

•          Maintain test cases, evidence, defects, and traceability in Jira/Confluence.

•          Support UAT, release validation, retesting, and production checks.

What we're looking for:

•          5+ years of experience in manual software testing.

•          Strong experience with functional, integration, end-to-end, and regression testing.

•          Technical understanding of APIs, HTTP, JSON/XML, integrations, and data flows.

•          Hands-on experience with API testing tools and SQL.

•          Able to use logs, request/response data, and database checks to investigate issues.

•          Comfortable with Jira, Confluence, test documentation, and Agile.

•          Good English and confidence working with technical and business stakeholders.

Nice to have:

•          Experience testing SAP ECC or S/4HANA integrations across FI/CO, MM, or SD.

•          Exposure to test automation with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured, or similar.

•          Experience with message queues, microservices, or distributed systems.

•          ISTQB or experience in e-commerce, inventory, finance, or returns.
