Job Requirements
Essential technical skills

• Demonstrable experience in manual testing and delivering modern web/mobile applications.
• Proficiency in testing Web APIs (REST, GraphQL, etc.).
• Creation and implementation of test plans for new software.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
• Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Open-minded and dynamic thinker who can contribute to various projects.
• Excellent time management and self-organizational skills.
• Passionate about software quality and dedicated to ensuring high standards.
• Demonstrates vigilance and discipline in utilizing testing tools and processes.
• Takes ownership and accountability for delivering high-quality outputs.
• Monitoring, documenting, and reporting software errors and usability issues.
• Experience in stress and performance testing and security testing across web/mobile applications.
• Ability to estimate and define QA tasks to support resource planning.
• Essential knowledge of Cloud technologies (AWS, Google, Azure).
• Strong understanding of robust development practices, including source control, unit testing, and CI/CD.
• Effective communication and collaboration with testers, developers, and stakeholders.
  

Desirable technical skills

• Experience in testing server-side and client-side applications and APIs.
• Implementation of automated testing criteria and processes to facilitate exploratory testing.
• Proficiency in test automation planning, execution, and triage for projects across multiple platforms.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium or WebDriver.
• Understanding of test frameworks like Cypress, RSpec, or JUnit.
• Knowledge of modern web technologies such as CSS and JavaScript (React).
• Experience with deployment to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (XP/Scrum).
• Exposure to development processes such as TDD, BDD, EDD.
• Agile Quality Certification (including ISTQB certifications in Tester Foundation Level) is advantageous.
  

Job Responsibilities

• Develop detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual test scripts and run exploratory tests, documenting the results.
• Record, investigate, analyze, and track identified bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Collaborate with the team to identify system requirements.
• Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of consistent testing standards, processes, and tools.
• Assist in the automation of web and mobile application testing using modern tools and frameworks like Cypress, RSpec, JUnit, Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, and Storybook.
• Provide recommendations to enhance software quality and improve the user experience.
