Who We AreOur client is looking for a Software Tester / QA Engineer ideally performing also automated testing.As a Software Tester / QA Engineer, you will support our development team in quality assurance and the further development of the KIDICAP application in the public-sector environment. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and the customer to ensure that new and existing functionalities are implemented reliably and to a high quality standard.What You’ll Be DoingAnalyzing functional and technical requirements and deriving suitable test scenarios and test casesPlanning, creating, executing, and documenting software testsPerforming functional tests, regression tests, as well as integration and end-to-end testsTesting new functionalities, enhancements, and bug fixesQuality assurance of frontend, backend, and interface functionalitiesTesting legal and functional changes within the KIDICAP applicationIdentifying, documenting, and tracking defectsRe-testing fixed defects and performing regression testsSupporting the creation and further development of automated testsMaintaining and enhancing existing test cases and test documentationAnalyzing and documenting test resultsClose collaboration with developers on defect analysis and resolutionSupporting release and acceptance testsActively contributing to the continuous improvement of our QA and testing processesWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related fieldAt least 5 years of experience in software testing / quality assuranceExperience in creating and executing manual and, ideally, automated testsGood knowledge of functional tests, regression tests, as well as integration and end-to-end testsExperience with test and defect managementKnowledge of Tosca or comparable test automation tools is an advantageExperience with Jira or comparable toolsBasic knowledge of REST APIs / interface testingSQL or database knowledge is an advantageExperience in an agile development environmentAnalytical and structured working style as well as a strong quality mindsetStrong communication skills and enjoyment of collaboration in international and distributed teams Show more Show less
