About the Role
We are looking for a QA Lead with strong technical and organizational expertise to oversee the quality assurance lifecycle for analytics, marketing, and consent tracking across complex digital environments. You will coordinate QA efforts, validate execution logic in Adobe Launch, ensure governance alignment, and guide both internal teams and clients through testing requirements. The role combines hands on technical validation with leadership responsibilities, process ownership, and continuous improvement of QA standards across both client side and server side implementations.
What You Will Do
• Lead and coordinate all QA activities for analytics and marketing tracking implementations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with approved specifications
• Validate tag execution logic inside Adobe Launch and review rule configuration, conditions, data elements, and custom script behavior
• Test tracking setups across browsers, devices, and environments using developer tools, console logs, network inspection, and browser extensions such as OmniBug and Adobe Experience Cloud Debugger
• Validate payload structure, parameters, and data population against SDR and technical documentation
• Run functional tests for consent logic, cookie behavior, expiration rules, opt in and opt out flows, and category based execution
• Validate server side tracking flows by reviewing event handoff, payload mapping, transformation rules, and endpoint behavior to ensure consistency with client side specifications and GDPR requirements
• Collaborate with engineering teams to review server side configurations and confirm correct event delivery, deduplication, data mapping accuracy, and error handling
• Perform end to end QA across both client side and server side implementations to ensure a reliable and coherent tracking architecture
• Develop or enhance automation scripts in Python or similar languages to reduce repetitive tasks and detect regressions early
• Review third party scripts and confirm correct execution conditions and dependencies
• Define QA plans, test cases, reporting structures, and documentation standards for the team
• Investigate issues, reproduce bugs, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution with Tag Implementation Developers and relevant stakeholders
• Provide structured updates to Project Managers on QA status, risks, blockers, and timelines
• Guide colleagues in adopting strong QA methodologies, consistent debugging techniques, and effective use of QA tools
• Own the QA lifecycle from planning to release and ensure long term reliability and stability of tracking setups across all projects involved
