If you’ll join our team, you will be challenged to:

• Own end‑to‑end quality for BT Go, with strong focus on complex integrations across internal platforms and third‑party systems.
• Establish clear ownership for test environments, including readiness criteria, usage rules, and health monitoring.
• Define and maintain integration testing strategy, scope, and dependency mapping across streams and squads.
• Drive shift‑left testing and quality ownership inside squads, reducing late validation and rework.
• Translate quality issues and constraints into concrete improvement initiatives.
• Ensure clear QA governance, metrics, and visibility for stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure QA processes are documented, aligned, and consistently applied.
• Enable QA teams to operate with autonomy, clarity, and accountability inside squads.
• Coach QA Leads and testers on integration thinking, risk‑based testing, and quality ownership.
• Foster a culture where quality is a shared responsibility, not a downstream activity.
• Define how automation supports BT Go delivery (what, where, and when to automate).
• Ensure automation is treated as an acceptance criterion, not a post‑development step.
• Support integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate and align with Business UAT teams to establish and govern testing standards and ensure end‑to‑end traceability across business requirements, acceptance criteria, UAT scenarios, and defects.
• Drive continuous quality improvement through analysis of production defects and incidents, identifying root causes and taking preventive actions.
• Provide transparency into quality metrics and take ownership for improving test and automation coverage, defect leakage, and defect escape rates.
• Be accountable for test strategy, planning, resource allocation, and oversight of execution for sprint and regression testing activities.
• Define and monitor clear productivity and quality metrics for AI usage (reduced test implementation time, improved coverage etc.), ensuring AI augments QA engineering.
• Establish guidance and best practices for AI‑supported testing activities (test case generation, automation acceleration, analytics) and continuously evolve them.

To perform in this role, we would like you to have:

Must Have

• Proven experience as a QA Manager / QA Lead in complex, integration‑heavy systems.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end, integration, and risk‑based testing.
• Experience driving change in QA practices or delivery models.
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, test strategy, and modern software delivery practices.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to balance strategic ownership with hands‑on problem solving.

Nice to Have

• Experience with DevOps / CI‑CD concepts, including quality gates, pipelines, and automated deployments.
• Exposure to environment management, release orchestration, or delivery of automation.
• Background in automation frameworks, API testing, or quality engineering practices.
• Experience working in digital banking or regulated environments.
