As a BQA Test Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance testing activities across a variety of projects. You will work collaboratively with project/product teams to ensure that testing is integrated into the solution delivery process and that quality standards are met. You will be expected to develop and implement testing strategies, manage test resources, and provide guidance and support to project teams, whilst being hands on.

Essentials

• Minimum 10 years of proven QA / testing experience working on large and complex IT projects at managerial level and above, and working to aggressive & tight time deadlines.
• Excellent project and test management skills including budgeting, effort and cost estimation
• Strong skills in using popular test management tools such as Azure DevOps and JIRA
• Knowledge of testing tools and SDLC methodologies, to deliver high quality outcomes
• Ability to manage multiple testing projects across different countries and regions, and coordinate with stakeholders and vendors
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to adapt to different cultural and business contexts
• Problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues
• Leadership and mentoring skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing testing team
• Ability to adopt a prioritized, risk-based testing approach to projects delivery
• Experience of implementing automation to accelerate test cycles and increase quality.
• Capable of developing key performance indicators (KPIs) and delivering reports and outcomes to C-suite executives.
• Experienced in non-functional testing, including performance, security, and usability testing, helping to ensure that software systems meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
• Competent in creating complex test strategies
• ISTQB Advance Test manager
