About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Tester who is passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions.This role focuses primarily on service maintenance, incident fixes, enhancements and development support activities, ensuring the stability and reliability of existing business-critical applications. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with a structured testing approach, excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous quality improvement throughout the service support lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesTest Planning & Execution:• Analyze business requirements, user stories and technical specifications to identify testing needs.• Design, develop, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, test scripts and test documentation.• Execute manual and automated testing activities to validate system functionality and business processes.• Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, usability and end-to-end testing.• Validate software functionality and integrations with project-specific hardware, including RFID printers, handheld devices and other related operational equipment.Defect Management• Identify, reproduce, document and prioritize software defects.• Provide detailed defect reports, including reproduction steps, expected results, actual results and supporting evidence.• Collaborate closely with project teams to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve issues.• Retest resolved defects and validate the effectiveness of implemented fixes.Continuous Improvement• Contribute to the enhancement of QA processes, testing methodologies and documentation standards.• Share best practices and lessons learned with project teams.• Support the adoption of quality-driven approaches throughout the service support lifecycle.Required Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills• Experience in designing and executing manual test cases and test scenarios.• Basic understanding of automated testing frameworks, particularly Java and Selenium.• Good knowledge of functional, regression, integration, exploratory and usability testing.• Experience working with defect tracking and test management tools.• Basic understanding of web applications, APIs, databases and client-server architectures.• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other iterative development methodologies.• Comfortable maintaining and working directly with required hardware components, including RFID printers, Android handheld devices and other required equipment.Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.• Ability to identify potential quality risks and recommend mitigation measures.• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Communication & Collaboration• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to clearly articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.• Experience collaborating with developers, business analysts, product owners and other project teams.Personal Attributes• Quality-focused mindset with a proactive attitude.• Strong organizational and time-management skills.• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within distributed teams.• Continuous learning mindset and willingness to adapt to changing project requirements.Qualifications & Experience• Proven experience in Manual Testing and Quality Assurance.• Basic knowledge of test automation concepts and tools.• Hands-on experience with test case design, execution and defect management.• Experience testing web-based and enterprise applications.• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.• Familiarity with testing and project management platforms such as Jira, TestLink, or similar tools.• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.• Ability to translate business requirements into effective testing scenarios and validation activities.• Good command of English, both written and spoken.Nice to Have• Exposure to MS SQL Server and database validation.• Experience working in cloud-based environments.• ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent QA certification.• Experience with hardware testing.Why Join Us?You will be part of a collaborative team where quality is a shared responsibility.
