About the Role
We are looking for an experienced QHSE Manager to join our team in Romania. In this role, you will report directly to the Managing Director of Qair Romania and receive support from the Qair International QHSE Manager based in France.
Your primary mission will be to implement and manage day-to-day quality, health, safety, hygiene, and environmental management systems, as well as coordinate subcontractors during the construction phases of our projects.
Key Responsibilities
Review QHSE regulations in project specifications and identify specific HSE requirements
Manage relationships with authorities on QHSE and regulatory matters
Define and implement QHSE policy, including indicators and control processes, in coordination with the Environment and Social Manager
Implement and adapt the EHST and Energy Management system to local requirements
Advise the Managing Director on QHSE matters in accordance with client requirements and company standards
Organize inspections on site and at subcontractors to ensure compliance with QHSE rules
Validate Quality and HSE requirements in contracts under negotiation with subcontractors
Manage subcontractors for quality audits at project suppliers
Ensure implementation of training, awareness, and medical follow-up programs
Implement continuous improvement systems, investigate accidents, and propose corrective measures
Assess occupational risks and organize evacuation and rescue response procedures
Conduct safety and environmental regulatory monitoring
Prepare QHSE reporting and liaise with safety and environmental certification bodies
