YOUR ROLE
As a Quality & Test Engineer with Capgemini, you will work closely with development teams to ensure the delivery of high‑quality software solutions. You will focus on effective test planning, automation, and continuous improvement, using the appropriate tools and techniques to validate functionality, reliability, and performance across complex environments.
In this role you will:
•
Plan test activities, monitor progress, and ensure alignment of priorities, environments, and tooling across all involved stakeholders.
•
Assess product quality by reviewing requirements and design documentation, and by preparing detailed test scenarios, test cases, test data, and automated scripts.
•
Execute tests, evaluate results, and provide clear reporting on product quality and detected issues.
•
Continuously analyze requirements and test processes to identify improvements that enhance product quality and testing efficiency.
•
Apply test analysis and automation patterns to ensure strong requirement coverage and reliable, fast execution of automated tests.
•
Contribute to maintaining a robust testing approach within Agile development teams and participate actively in quality‑driven practices.
Responsibilities
YOUR PROFILE
•
Solid knowledge of software testing principles, standards, and methodologies, with hands‑on experience in test planning, test case design, and execution.
•
Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, Kreya, or similar, and familiarity with databases and SQL-based validation.
•
Practical experience in writing, maintaining, and executing automated tests, as well as performing system integration testing.
•
Strong ability to understand business context, prioritize effectively, and collaborate smoothly with technical and cross‑functional teams.
•
Experience with test management and defect management tools, as well as supporting end‑user testing (UAT) in enterprise environments.
•
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in testing and quality assurance, with experience working in Agile and multicultural team environments.
•
Excellent communication skills in English, French is considered as an asset.
