Role Overview

The QA Engineer owns the quality of business-critical flows across complex SaaS systems, with strong hands-on API testing as a core responsibility.

The role focuses on risk discovery, edge cases, and real system behavior across UI, API, and integrations, working autonomously alongside the QA Lead.

This is a high-ownership role, not task execution.

Key Responsibilities

* Test critical user journeys across UI, API, and integrations

* Identify edge cases, undocumented behavior, and production risks

* Design critical-value manual test scenarios

* Report issues clearly with reproducible steps and business impact

* Collaborate closely with QA Lead and client teams 

Required Experience

* 5+ years QA experience on web-based SaaS or platform products

* 2+ years API testing with Postman or equivalent 

* Strong manual testing background on complex systems

* Solid understanding of APIs and relational databases (queries, data validation)

* Comfortable working independently in client-facing environments

Expectations:

* High autonomy and consistent availability

* Ownership of assigned areas with minimal oversight
