This role is primarily focused on manual testing, while also offering the opportunity to contribute to and gradually expand our automated testing capabilities.If you have a strong eye for detail, enjoy understanding complex systems, and want to work on software that makes an impact in a highly regulated industry, this could be a great fit for you.What You Will DoAnalyze requirements and technical specifications and translate them into clear, comprehensive test scenarios and test casesPlan and execute primarily manual testing for web and desktop applicationsExecute automated tests and analyze and interpret test resultsIdentify, troubleshoot, document, and track defects through resolutionPerform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testingHelp identify, maintain, and plan regression test suitesValidate new features while ensuring existing functionality remains stableWork closely with developers, Product Owners, and other cross-functional team members to clarify requirements and understand user workflowsParticipate in test planning, estimation, and continuous improvement of QA processesContribute to the existing test automation solution and help identify suitable scenarios for automationApply quality practices and standards relevant to the medical and regulated industryCommunicate testing progress, quality status, results, risks, and potential issues in a clear and structured mannerYour Skill Set3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with strong hands-on experience in manual testing of web and/or desktop applicationsStrong understanding of QA methodologies, testing concepts, test design techniques, STLC, and software development lifecycleExperience creating, maintaining, and executing test cases and test scenariosExperience with test management and defect tracking tools, preferably Azure DevOpsGood understanding of databases and basic database validationFamiliarity with Agile methodologies; experience with SAFe is a plusExposure to automation tools or technologies such as TestComplete, Python, and Jenkins is a plusExperience working in a regulated environment, preferably medical, healthcare, or pharma, is highly valuedStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detailGood communication and collaboration skillsGood English communication skills, both written and spokenEducationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.LocationThis role is based in Cluj-Napoca.
