In this strategic contractor role within our Digital Grid division, you'll serve as the central guardian of product safety and quality excellence. By conducting rigorous risk assessments, driving global compliance, and orchestrating centralized oversight of Quality Management in Projects (QMiPs), you'll ensure consistent, process-driven execution across all execution units—directly boosting operational efficiency, reducing risks at scale, and accelerating high-impact delivery.
How You’ll Make An Impact

• Product Safety Leadership- Establish and enforce robust product safety processes, ensuring comprehensive, data-driven risk assessments, hazard identification, and mitigation are implemented across all design, development, and deployment phases for every product launched to market.
• Independent Quality & Risk Validation Conduct independent reviews of project artifacts, validate residual risks are properly documented and clearly communicated through user-centric manuals, warnings, and resources; identify, assess, and manage project risks while ensuring effective mitigation and documentation.
• Compliance, Audits & Regulatory Adherence Monitor and ensure rigorous compliance with defined quality standards and emerging regulations; conduct regular audits and assessments to verify adherence, identify improvement areas, and maintain consistent quality across all products and processes.
• Cross-Functional Quality Assurance & NCC Management Partner closely with QMiPs, segments, regional teams, and Operations to deliver comprehensive quality assurance, systematically report/track/resolve Non-Conformance Costs (NCCs), minimize financial impact, and support development and implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Continuous Improvement Culture Drive a culture of continuous improvement by collaborating with project teams to integrate risk management into planning and execution, and by proactively identifying opportunities to enhance quality assurance processes, compliance measures, and overall product safety and quality.
  

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Quality Management, or a closely related discipline.
• Certifications in risk management, quality standards or process governance (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt) are desirable.
• 5+ years of hands-on expertise in product safety, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance, with demonstrated success in centralized quality governance or QMiP management within the energy, utilities, or high-tech sectors.
• Experience with digital grid technologies, IoT-enabled devices, or smart infrastructure is a strong advantage.
• Deep proficiency in risk assessment frameworks, compliance auditing tools, quality management systems and QMiP/process governance methodologies; expertise in audit planning, FMEA, data analytics, and digital quality dashboards for cross-unit performance tracking.
• Exceptional communication and influence skills to align global teams, present findings to leadership, a meticulous, analytical mindset with advanced problem-solving capabilities and a proven ability to enforce standards without compromising
