About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Bucharest, Romania. This role is critical to ensure the implementation and maintenance of Haleon’s Quality Management Systems (QMS) and compliance with GMP/GDP and local regulatory requirements. You will act as a Deputy Responsible Person and Qualified Person back-up, supporting quality operations across Romania and Moldova.
What You’ll Do:

• Implement and monitor QMS compliance across local operations.
• Conduct audits, manage CAPAs, and oversee self-inspections.
• Coordinate product incident management and customer complaints.
• Ensure compliance in repacking, import, and distribution activities.
• Liaise with internal departments, external contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Provide training and support on quality procedures and regulatory standards.
• Maintain documentation and support administrative quality functions.
  

Qualifications & Skills
Essential Qualifications:

• Extensive Regulatory knowledge
• Expertise in using Quality Management System
• Experience in auditing and CAPA Management
• Deep and proven knowledge of the pharmaceutical and/or Healthcare industry
• Qualified Person and Responsible Person Certification
• Working English and Romanian knowledge to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  

Desired Skills:

• Analytical and Problem-solving skills to assess complex quality issues and implement effective solutions
• Exeptional communication skills to successfully manage cross-functional team interactions and external negotiations
• Ability to effectively manage projects and time-lines
• IT Literacy – willingness to work with MS Office programs, internal systems and occasionally AI
