VASS Romania is currently seeking Quality Assurance Specialist to work for an interesting project!

The role:

The QA Lead is responsible for defining, coordinating, and overseeing all testing and quality assurance activities for the project. This role ensures that testing processes are effectively implemented, that test coverage is adequate, and that deliverables meet the established quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the project Test Strategy and Test Plan.
• Coordinate functional, integration, and non-functional testing activities.
• Establish and maintain traceability between requirements and tests.
• Manage the defect lifecycle, including reporting and quality dashboards.
• Ensure test environments and test data are prepared and validated prior to execution.
• Lead the QA team, providing prioritization, support, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and external vendors during integration and issue resolution.
• Review and approve test artefacts, reports, and quality metrics.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in QA.
• Experience in API, backend, or integration testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern testing tools.
• Professional level of English (spoken and written).
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Desirable

• Experience working with iPaaS integration platforms such as Boomi or similar technologies.
