We're hiring: QA Tester (Manual + Automation + AI Testing) — Bucharest, on-site

At **NB1 Health**, we build microbiome and at-home health testing products that thousands of people across Europe rely on to make better decisions about their bodies. When our software ships a bug, it doesn't just annoy a user — it slows down a lab result, a kit shipment, or a doctor's recommendation. So quality matters here in a way it doesn't everywhere.

We're looking for a QA Tester to join our engineering team in Bucharest and own quality across our web and mobile products end-to-end.

**What makes this role different:**

You'll be one of the first people on the team to bring AI into the testing loop — both as something we *test* (our product uses LLM features) and something we *use* (Copilot, Cursor, AI-assisted test generation, self-healing locators). If you've been waiting for a QA role where "AI testing" is more than a buzzword on a slide, this is it.

**A typical week looks like:**

- Designing test cases for new features — manual first when the spec is fuzzy, automated as soon as it stabilizes

- Building Playwright suites for web and Appium/XCUITest for mobile

- Writing LLM evals: accuracy, hallucinations, tone, latency, cost — and tracking model drift release-over-release

- Hooking everything into CI so every PR runs the right suite, with flakiness near zero

- Sitting in refinement and being the person who asks *"how will we know this is correct?"* before code is written

**You'll fit in if you have:**

- 2–4 years in QA on production web or mobile products

- Strong manual testing fundamentals (clear repros, exploratory testing with intent — not random clicking)

- Hands-on with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium + at least one mobile framework (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)

- Comfortable with SQL, Git, CI pipelines, and API testing (Postman/REST Assured + reading OpenAPI specs)

- Working English (we write tickets and docs in English)

- Genuine curiosity about AI testing — even if you haven't done it professionally, you've experimented and have opinions

**Bonus points for:** ISTQB Foundation, LLM eval tooling (DeepEval, Promptfoo, Braintrust, LangSmith), performance testing (k6, JMeter), accessibility testing (axe, WAVE), or experience in healthtech / fintech / another high-stakes domain.
