Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Process quality Management:

• Drive a quality-focused mindset across all manufacturing process areas.
• Work closely with quality engineers, production responsible and engineering teams to implement and track process KPIs both quality and process related.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of process quality engineers and technicians, ensuring high levels of performance and engagement.
• Conduct regular team meetings, providing updates, addressing challenges, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Evaluate team performance and provide coaching to enhance skills and career development.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

• Oversee internal and external audits, including first, second, and third-party audits, to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
• Ensure that all process areas achieve and maintain quality requirements according to ISO, IATF, VDA, IPC, ESD and Customer specific requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes, procedures, and systems related to quality management in process.

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement:

• Lead the identification of quality issues, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve issues effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and performance metrics (e.g., defect rates, supplier performance) to improve overall quality.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Analyse supplier quality data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present regular reports to senior management regarding process performance, non-conformance issues, and resolution progress, with high focus on scrap target and FTT.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with purchasing, manufacturing, project, engineering, and other teams to ensure quality issues are addressed and to improve the process performance.
• Support the new product development process by working with cross-functional teams to ensure that suppliers meet design and quality specifications.

Training & Development:

• Provide training and guidance on quality standards, tools, and techniques to both internal teams.
• Foster a culture of quality within the team and across other support teams.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in SMT processes, Molding and Assembly, special process knowledge is a bonus

Technical Knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of quality systems.
• VDA 6.3, IATF, AIAG, SPC, IPC, ESD standards.
• Minitab (or related software)
• SAP knowledge
• Metrology/ measurement systems and tools
• Soft Skills:
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• High resilience to stress and pressure.
• Maturity, accountability, and decision-making skills in complex situations.
• Effective cross-functional communication.
