We are looking for someone to join our team of professionals that supports the Index Strategy team of a top global investment bank, with a special focus on Options.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the platform for index production.
• Program and develop strategies using rulebooks.
• Handle day-to-day issues related to index maintenance and delivery to clients.
• Produce and deliver monthly performance reports.
• Perform data quality checks to ensure the accuracy of inputs used for index calculations.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve the efficiency and accuracy of index calculations.
• Implement continuous improvements in processes and tools used for index production.

Core Competencies

• Knowledge of capital markets asset classes, particularly Options.
• Strong accuracy in data handling, coding, and documentation.
• Comfortable working in dynamic environments and adapting to evolving technologies and business needs.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences.
• Ownership of tasks and projects, keeping stakeholders informed.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, quants, and business stakeholders.
• Proactive in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Ability to analyze complex data problems and develop efficient, scalable solutions.
• Adaptability to rapid changes in the environment.
• Meticulous, with strong attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

• BBSc/MSc, B. Tech degree.
• 4+ years of experience working with Python and data manipulation in a quantitative or analytical environment.
• Strong command of Excel and data manipulation.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Object-oriented programming experience.
• Knowledge of data governance and security frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
