As a Regional Retail Banking Director, you will have a direct impact on the commercial, operational and organizational performance of one of the key areas within BCR’s Retail network. You will coordinate the activity of your region, turn the business strategy into clear action plans and contribute to building relevant customer experience through well-aligned, high-performing teams connected to the bank’s objectives.You will coordinate a Retail region covering 8 counties, Constanța, Tulcea, Brăila, Galați, Buzău, Vaslui, Călărași and Ialomița, with a total of 36 branches. You will work directly with a team of 15 direct reports, including Commercial Managers, Retail Group Managers, a Service Manager, Sales Coordinators and Performance Specialists.How you will contributeYou will coordinate Retail activities across the assigned region, with direct responsibility for business results, commercial objectives, revenues and controllable costs at regional level.You will translate BCR’s strategy into clear and actionable business plans, adapted to the realities of the local market and the network you lead.You will coordinate the regional management teams, including Retail Group Directors and other key roles within the regional structure, ensuring alignment, clarity, execution rhythm and focus on results.You will support team development through feedback, coaching and active leadership, helping create an environment where people understand direction, take ownership of their goals and deliver sustainable performance.You will monitor the performance of customer portfolios and stay involved in the relationship with relevant clients and prospects in the region, especially across the Affluent and Micro segments.You will work closely with Head Office teams and support functions to ensure the smooth functioning of the branch network, optimize flows and implement strategic initiatives.You will contribute to the efficient sizing and organization of the region, so that customers receive services and advice in line with the bank’s quality standards.You will monitor compliance with standards, processes and the internal control framework, contributing to a healthy, predictable and responsible way of working across the coordinated units.What will help you succeedSolid banking experience, ideally in Retail, sales, distribution or network coordination.Minimum 10 years of experience in the financial-banking sector and at least 5 years in management roles.A strong understanding of Retail network dynamics, commercial performance indicators, business logic and the impact of decisions on teams and customers.Strategic thinking and the ability to turn business directions into clear plans, priorities and execution.A leadership style based on influence, clarity and personal example, with a focus on alignment, results and team development.Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.The ability to make data-based decisions, with attention to opportunities, risks, compliance and integrity.Adaptability to change, comfort with ambiguity and a mature, responsible and integrity-driven approach.Sounds like you’d be a good fit?
