Overview:Perform Retrofit on Metropolis train in order to ensure their availability.Provide technical support, warranty support team, rolling stock support team.Key accountabilities:Perform Retrofit activity on train taking into account work instructions and related documents, including investigation and repair.Reports & register any deviation (failure/event) in Retrofit activity.Apply & enforce Alstom & customer EHS & security rules.Execute test & trouble shouting procedures to evaluate status of modification.Support specific technical investigations by Engineering or internal/external SuppliersRecommends preventive and corrective actions.Instructs and directs operators in field modification and repairs if needed. Advises Retrofit manager regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product enhancementsEnsure good information flow about interventions & operations within Retrofit activity to support shift transition, if neededContribute to Return of Experience.Education requirements:Technical modification (electrical)/Technical troubleshooting/investigation/testing experience (electrical / electronic) (> 10 years for Senior position)Field Experience (> 10 years for Senior position)EHS knowledge and exposureProduct knowledgeGood use of english language- mandatory.Computer skillDesirable :Railway Safety/Product liabilityEngineering knowledgeCustomer contactProblem-solving & critical thinkingTeamwork & collaborationYou don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
