What you’ll have to do:
- Oversight of credit risk assessment process, and associated processes;
- Develop and maintain credit risk management procedures;
- Ensure periodic reporting to leadership and committees on credit risk;
- Develop risk reporting (Reshift SQL, QuickSight);
- Develop and optimize credit decision logic;
- Identify potential risk management opportunities through data mining;
- Participate in the development of PD models;
- Participate in and coordinate underwriting strategy tests & deployments;
- Monitor operational risk in coordinated processes;
- Drive root cause analysis of incidents and be authoritative in holding process owners accountable for incident resolution.
How we’d like you to be:
- With experience in credit risk management role (retail lending) in financial institution;
- With prior experience and skills in manipulating data using SQL, Quicksight, R, SAS or similar tools;
- With good command of English;
- With the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, both with business and technical teams;
- With attention to details and accuracy;
- With track record of setting up and running retail lending processes (considered a plus);
- With knowledge of lending regulations (i.e. NBR Regulation 17) (considered a plus).
