Romanian Translator ( Freelance)

Responsibilities

• Text Translation:
• Accurately and fluently translate source text into the target language, maintaining the meaning and style of the original content (monthly workload: about XXX source English words).
• Familiar with industry-specific terminology and background for different products to ensure translations meet specific domain requirements.
• Text Review and Localization:
• Review translated documents/online translations to improve quality and accuracy, aligning with language conventions and context requirements.
• Attention to details such as grammar, spelling, and punctuation to improve the professionalism and readability of the document.
• Cross-Cultural Communication:
• Possess strong cross-cultural communication skills, understanding cultural backgrounds and habits to avoid ambiguity and misunderstandings in translations.
• Play an active role in cross-cultural communication to promote mutual understanding and collaboration.
• Continuous Knowledge Acquisition:
• Continuously learn and accumulate knowledge and terminology related to the field, staying sensitive to industry developments and changes.
• Constantly improve translation skills and language proficiency to meet translation demands across different fields and languages.
• Actively update and maintain the multilingual termbase for relevant products.
• Other Responsibilities:
• Actively follow the arrangements of the company and team leaders to promote the success of the project and the good cooperation of the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in language, translation, or related fields. Romanian speaker with proficiency in either English or Chinese.
• Translation experience required. Candidates holding language or translation certificates preferred.
• Proficient in CAT tools such as Trados, memoQ, and Smartling.
• Translation experience in finance, securities, futures, and cryptocurrency trading preferred.
• Responsible and diligent work ethic, quick response, strong learning ability, and good communication and coordination skills.
