About the role
The Sales Manager will drive new business by engaging, qualifying, and converting clients across weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. You will be responsible for managing incoming leads, building relationships, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals based on established pricing guidelines and contractual frameworks that align with business objectives.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role that requires strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for helping clients bring their celebrations to life. You will work closely with the management team to meet revenue targets, manage sales KPIs, and ensure a seamless transition from sales to account management once contracts are signed.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage the entire sales process from first contact to signed contract, including qualification, proposal preparation, presentation, negotiation, and closure.
- Consultative Selling: Understand client needs, event goals, and budget expectations to propose the most suitable entertainment packages and add-ons.
- Proposal and Pricing Alignment: Prepare and negotiate proposals that fully comply with internal pricing guidelines, contractual standards, and overall business objectives.
- CRM and Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all opportunities and client interactions in the CRM system. Ensure visibility into deal status, conversion rates, and pipeline health.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Track and report performance against monthly and quarterly sales targets, including booking volume, revenue per event, and conversion rate.
- Handover to Account Management: Ensure a smooth and complete transition of all signed contracts to the account management team, including event details, client expectations, and key communication notes.
- Ownership of Success Metrics: Take full accountability for achieving key sales KPIs such as lead-to-close conversion rate, total booking value, average revenue per event, and client satisfaction at the pre-contract stage.
About you
- You have 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality, events, or entertainment industry.
- Proven track record in consultative selling, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Strong understanding of B2C and B2B sales dynamics, especially in premium or experience-driven services.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring each client interaction feels seamless and professional.
- Confident communicator, comfortable leading discussions with both individuals and corporate decision-makers.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments when needed.
- Comfortable using CRM systems for pipeline tracking, performance reporting, and workflow management.
- Fluent in English and Romanian, both written and spoken.
- Willing to work flexibly, including evenings or weekends when meeting clients or attending events.
