Sales Manager – Romania & Moldova
We are supporting a global tire manufacturer with a strong international presence and a growing footprint in Europe in the search for a Sales Manager to lead commercial development across Romania and Moldova.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on commercial professional who enjoys building markets, developing partnerships, and driving growth in a dynamic environment. The role offers significant autonomy and the chance to contribute to the expansion of a well-established international brand in the region, including elements of market development and greenfield business growth.
Role Overview
The Sales Manager will lead and execute sales activities for the company’s PCR (Passenger Car Radial) and LTR (Light Truck Radial) tire portfolio across Romania and Moldova.
The role focuses on developing the regional market, expanding distributor networks, strengthening key accounts, and driving revenue growth through a proactive and field-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Market Development: Execute regional sales strategies and identify growth opportunities in the PCR and LTR segments.
- Key Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts while leading commercial negotiations (pricing, contracts, agreements).
- New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through active prospecting, market visits, and partner engagement.
- Performance & Financial Monitoring: Track sales performance, profitability, and market share, contributing to pricing strategies and business planning.
- Collaboration & Market Insights: Work closely with internal teams and regional leadership while providing regular market insights, forecasts, and sales reports.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- ~10 years of sales experience in the industry (manufacturer, distributor, or retailer)
- Proven track record in developing sales and managing accounts in Romania or Eastern Europe
- Experience with B2B channels
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment
- Open to frequent travel across the region
- English – fluent
- Additional Eastern European languages are considered an advantage
