Location: Hungary (Remote / Office-based)
Industry: Piping & Plumbing Hardware & Valves / PVF
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Expansion: Develop and manage local distributors, wholesalers, and key accounts in the piping and plumbing hardware industry.
- Product Promotion: Promote MEIDE’s full range of products, including ductile iron pipes/fittings, smart water meters, valves, malleable iron fittings, and grooved systems, etc..
- Project Targeting: Identify and pursue business opportunities in construction, water supply, fire protection, and infrastructure projects.
- Full Sales Cycle: Lead the entire process from customer identification and presentations to quotations, contract negotiation, and after-sales follow-up.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term partnerships with contractors, project consultants, EPC firms, and resellers.
- Strategic Intelligence: Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to optimize regional strategy and product offerings.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Coordinate with internal technical, logistics, and finance departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2–3+ years of proven sales experience in related industries (pipes, valves, fittings, or plumbing hardware).
- Competency: Proven ability to independently develop distribution channels and manage major accounts.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Hungarian construction materials and infrastructure market.
- Language: Fluent in English and Hungarian (written and spoken).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, International Business, or a related field.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel within Hungary and occasionally to HQ or regional hubs.
